They took a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finish in our 30min. A-main. They were definitely the tires of choice.

the track at IR/CR is a bit on the smaller side, but it really doesn't detract from the class, there are good technical sections and a quick blast down the back straight. the track is just wide enough to have to hit a good line to make a good lap time, but is still pretty forgiving. We've had lots of cars running at the same time and although you have to pick your passing spots it's a great track to race and have fun on.

the sweeps 50's handle great at IR/RC as well

So what is the best temperature range for the 45's and 50's? In the spring and fall we can race in temps in the 50'sF to low 60'sF, but in the middle of summer it can be in the high 90'sF.

for your spring fall I would go with either the 45's or the 50's, for the summer the 50's will be the best.

actually I have used the 50's for temps in to the high 40's and they are still really good. the 50's cover a really good temperature range and show very little wear in most conditions.

Yes, lower the number the softer they are.

Just put a set of the 45 EXP on my car and can't wait to try them. I am building up a second car right now, to get one ready for Vegas . Let's go racing.

I picked up a set from IGT and am headed out to the track tomorrow to test them out! Nice rubber and all 4 tires came already balanced (!!!) No putty needed. NICE.

I sure will. I have a couple of other tires to take to compare them too as well.

I'll be observing the SWCS race, but won't be at racing level by then.

Thanks, I appreciate that.

Here I am at Mikes and you will see I need some practice:
http://www.rccoh.com/IMG/videos/dm-1.gulfcoast.rw.html

But it's more me needing to upgrade my charger as well as my radio first. (hyperion dual with large power supply and upgrading my 3PM to a 4PKS) That's a grand right there and my monthly budget is only between $300 and $600 per month, so I need a little time.

I'll certainly be picking your brains though. And I am sure that I will be itching to get out there once I see a bunch of other GT's.
