Talking

I was going through the closet and came across a project my son and I used to drag race people at the local train station parking lot with.

It was a real sleeper

It is a 1/12 scale CRT.5 that I shoe horned a old school Novarossi Bigblock Onroad .15 into. Basically a bathtub with a tornado strapped to it

I have a 22T clutch bell 17mm adapters for the wheels and some suspension work and this thing really Scoots

I went through it a few days ago replaced some bearings put a set of Sweep GT tires on it and the Police with his Laser clocked us at 64mph last week before the snow showed up
Drop it 1 tooth and do wheelies at 50mph with ease

Was fun going bashing with my son again, Lots of memories when my son was a lot younger

Enjoy the pics, maybe if it gets warmer I can make a short video.
If I get bored maybe i'll put a 2 speed in it

1Speedy,

Cherish those times spent with your boy. They grow up too fast.

Whats the difference between the GT LS Soft V1 pink full insert and GT LS Soft V2 white full insert?

The new white V2 inserts gives a better “feel” for your setup and also helps with longer tire wear.
These are the latest in Sweeps ongoing development in making some of the best RC tires on the market today. The Pinks worked very well yet Sweep choose to make a even better product, These new inserts are the result of Sweeps continuing effort to improve the GT class.

I really like them

Thanks 1Speedy,

I have the pinks on my Cobra GT and like them a lot. I just ordered a new set of tires/ inserts and decided to try the whites. Sweep Tires really are the best.

You'll like those white inserts . I ran them the last time I raced and loved the way they felt. I also ran the Sweep body and got that hooked up nice as well.

Maybe log in on http://www.sweepshop.eu/ page first?

If you payed by PayPal look on your online account it will show you the contact info there. Also if you payed for an order you should have got an Email confirmation, maybe reply to the email.

Hope this helps
