The new wheels are supposed to be a different compound that is in between the ROK's and the softs.

They were available in black and orange only from what i recall ( and i have both!). To be honest i didnt notice a difference between the two, lap time wise.

I was told the Roks were supposed to be more durable but I've banged them up more that I have the original wheels. Let it be noted that I'm still sort of new to the class and have kissed the wall more than others. I really can't tell the difference in performance to be honest. One thing I can say for sure is that the Sweeps last a lot longer and (in my opinion) are way more consistent throughout a qualifier/race. Again, this might be due to my rookie techniques but all-in-all love the Sweeps.

Any idea when you will have the 45s back in stock? My front wheels fell apart after two races? Not sure what I was doing wrong?

Default Good weekend for Sweep Tires

The Heart of America Series in Lincoln Nebraska was this weekend as well.

TQ and Win went to Bill Sydor on Sweep 40's with V4 rims.

I qualified 2nd running the same tires, but had trouble in the mains, but the car worked very well. Need to fire the mechanic .....

Weather and track was not quite up to a Track record run, but that is what Billy is working on for the race the weekend prior to the Byrons.

To our friends at the Byrons East Race ...... Great Job!

Andy, should see you in 4 weeks ....
