Sweep tires have a clean "Sweep" at the Fireball Race in Lincoln, Nebraska this past weekend.

TQ & Win - Bill Sydor
2nd - Mark Z.
3rd - Mark W. (1.66 back of 2nd)

This is one track that for Bill and myself, the treaded tires seem to work better, but Mark Z. was on slicks.

Thanks for the great tires!

No Byrons for me this year. We are getting the gt ball rolling here in Florida again with the introduction of the cobra lighting some fires and attracting allot of interest. Our rules should be posted soon for the next forgass season so we will see how it goes. Maybe next summer I'll take it on a road trip or two. This class is allot of fun.

Yes have almost everthing read for the trip in a few weeks. Looks like travel racing every 3-4 weeks. Byrons should be good, but I've always wanted to run the Euro style pavement track. I'm thinking about running my 4wd Open car as well but we'll see.

OK quick question, On the Sweep sire I see that they say the GT version is good for VHT tracks. Now I have been using the EXP and the track I race at uses a "VHT" I am wondering if I would like the GT rubber better. Any thoughts from others that race on sprayed tracks?

Thanks!

I have run both on VHT tracks, and they both work well. Try the GT on VHT, I'm sure you'll agree that they work very well.

Default midwest series race 2

Hey there fellow racers, i just wanted to give a little report out on the use of the sweep tires I used in the midwest series race in portage indiana. As usual the sweeps worked great, it turned out to be a great weekend with good and hot weather. the track we ran on was a parking lot track with pretty course aggrigate, and it was pretty rough on foam tires for the sedans and 1/8th scale open cars. The GT cars ran with the 2wheel drive pan cars again and there was some good racing between the two. I started the day of with some sweep 45, and while the car performed well I felt it was a little to hot for them, I then switched to some sweep 45 treaded tires, and while I still feel it was a little to hot for them I think that the tread pattern really worked well on the rough surface of the track, I did however notice tire wear with them put the performance of them was spot on. Taking the heat of the day into account I swithed to sweep 55 slicks for the main, and I think this was the right choice, because they also handled great on this track and tire wear at the end of a 30 min main was very minimal. I ended up tq and won the main and am very happy with the performance of the sweep tires, the next race for me will be the Byrons race and i hope I can do just as well it seems like there is going to be a lot of good competition at this race this year in GT.

Nice job on the win. Bring your A game to the Byrons race. The competition will be intense there.

Yes

to make this event a "FUN EVENT", We will have the nation's Fastest GT8 racers such as Andy Liu, Bill Sydor and Joaquin Desoto JR. will battle for the championship.

We are also planning to debut our ROK version of GT EXP tires on the race day. which contains Fully surpported inserts with a set of air hole and ROK Hard wheels also puctured with a set of air hole.

The ROK Pre-glued set will runs cooler, delivering more traction while last longer.
