Which one of these is better?

Depends.

But most say Fw05R

why not wait for the V one RRR?
It maybe better.

And what kind of track do you run on?

the EVO may be better for large flowing tracks, whereas the 05R is better for smaller to mid sized tracks (perfect for parking lot).

umm i kinda run on parking lots and places with smooth asphalt.

also, the 05R can use the STS RS3 engine with a SG crankshaft right? I ask this because I have this engine laying around in its original packaging since november and I wanna put this engine to use.

IMO, the 05R would be better for you.

give the FW05R a try you wont be dissapointed also Kyosho has a new on road weapon comming out the Triple R

wait i also have another question that no one is answering. Will the HPI R40 would with an SG crankshaft engine?

you dont want a belt driven car like an R40 in a parking lot!!! to many stones = stripped belts! go for the FW-05R its good for parking lot and on the tracks.
