Hey guys, there is an older Ob4 thread here, but glad to see you guys step up to the better forum ! ! !
If you are at Crystal Park look up Steve from Ofna. Sometimes he's there with his Ob4, Glitch has run into him.
Crazy is right about the f/1way and ball diff. I prefer the oil in the rear diff, less maint. If you can run 20 sconds or less, you can run a 15-19 with a 1+ Horsepower motor @ Crystal Park, set your shift late so only on the straight do you see 2nd gear.
Ryan, you dont have to take the whole rear apart. Upper deck screws, shock tower, dampener, and one diff block. Make sure the adjustment rings are set in the same notch, left & right. Dont tighten the belt a lot, just so it doesnt slip. The belts are kevlar and you dont want to stretch them, then they are going to get looser till they break.
