Right now I'm running a Orion Wasp .12 turbo, I think it about 1.3 hp. But if your getting a new engine and money is not a issue get a Novamax .12 Max 3 or a Novarossi NS12, hp for that two engine I'm not too sure but I'm sure it really fast!

i was thinking of getting a novamega sx12 ss 3p turbo which runs for about 260 and it has 1.80 hp. but i was wondering lets just say if one engine had about 1.60 hp and the other had 1.80hp is horse power the determining factor in which one of these engines will be faster? could the engine with 1.60 hp beet the engine with 1.80 hp, just wondering? what is the true factor of what makes a engine fast?

Speed isn't just centered in the engine, the gearing has plenty to do with top end, too. I don't think 0.2 hp is going to make a big difference. My Sirio .12 has about 1.4 hp, but it keeps up with the rest on the straights. It's the turns when everyone passes me.

Orion Wasp Roar(old rules)motor,Orion claims 1.45hp,HP ratings dont really mean that much because they all use different methods of testing,I like the Wasp, seems like a good motor but then I dont have as much "nitro" experence as alot of you guys, and I have not been racing nitro TC's for very long so the Orion Wasp really has to much HP for me..but thats why I'm racing nitro's,Way To Much Power,The Wasp does seem to hold a tune also and so far I have not had much trouble with it.

NovaMega SX12 SE Evo2 worked on by RBMods. Breaking it in now. Hope it's worth it. Traded up from a CV-R 15

i run the novarossi S3, and that is very fast, it is the engine that won nats last year. but we all know it won nats because of hara's amazing driving skills...but anyhow...the novamega sx12 3P, is the pretty much the same as a novarossi ns12 S3, the only difference is mega is serpent, and rossi is sopposed to be mugen, but that doesnt really matter
