I don't know, I was hoping someone here adapted an 1/8th scale electric conversion kit or something. I've got a pristine Mclaren Gulf body painted exactly box art on it that I definitely do not want to cut into, and also an out of production unpainted HPI Murcielago 280mm body that I was going to use as a runner. My FW04 chassis itself has got some serious mods to it. I bought it about 10 years ago for $200 with a big block 15rx, 2 speed, cross chassis, carbon fiber top plate, extra 2 speed, some super expensive shocks, and a bunch of parts. It's been sitting in storage, and I recently pulled it out of storage moving into my new house. Looks great as a shelf queen, but I would like to run it also.

My FW03 EP Project, I'm going Brushless on this and needed a dummy motor for fitting:

The fit..

The Kyosho main gear shaft lathed to accept the Tamiya TT01 spur gear..

Tamiya DB01 wheel test fit...

I came really close to selling my 4 stroke FW04 but glad I held onto it. Nice to see people dusting off their Supertens and giving it a new lease on life.

The first Superten that came out was way back in 1985 and some guys call it the FW03 but that was never the name it was only a super class car with Tamiya and HPI. and they where the only one that made them, Kyosho just keeped going with it until 2001. Then came the FW05 1/10 scale.
