Bringing back the Kyosho FW-04 as Kyosho onroad is somewhat dead.

FW-04 was my first real Kyosho car and a nitro car at the same time. Though I had the 4-stroke versions at first but the later with O.S engines 2-stroke's like the RX 15.

This is going to be under some renovations but I'm gonna keep pretty much as it is, a FW-04 Special edition Honda NSX.

Also pictured the Kyosho catalog from 2002 with the car and R/C car mag with this great "SuperTen Battle" article where they tested 2-stroke and 4-stroke versions head to head with options parts.

If you know where to get similar foam tires or any ideas for a replacement please let me know! Cheers

yeah it's been a while. Run 2wd last summer and it was much fun, have two of them.

I got this car from eBay Germany for less than 150USD to refresh my memories, back then they cost like 1000USD each.

Not sure if I gonna run this much, depends if I find decent tires for this.

Nice car, man! I'd LOVE to see the catalog you have with the 2st vs. 4st Superten; you said it's the 2002 Kyosho catalog, correct??

Yes, make me want to jump-start mine now. I picked up one with that was relatively new with a FS 26C fourstroke and Futaba 3PJS radio rather cheap about a year ago. Haven't fired it up since I picked it up.

If you can find HPI Super Nitro tires and rims, you should be fine. The tires are rubber and not foam but will do in a pinch (I have a Super Nitro along with a Tamiya TGX so I have tires for days).

Wow this page hasn't been active since I sold my car!!

As far as I know, GPM are the only foam tyres available for the fw04, I've seen a couple of sets available in Australia still, will see if still there and might be able to hook you up with a set. No promises though....

My fw04 is an NSX special too, I just fitted almost every option I could though! Lol...
