I don't know, it's all confused so let's make it simple:
Masami is semi-retired and I don't think ever ran nitro so we can ignore him for the moment.
Hara is actually signed up for the worlds, has won in nitro before and no one seems to know for sure what he is running. Anyone know for sure?

Would have tough for Mugen, maybe Hotbodies has a 1/8th.

i was told atsui hara will run the v8, hope the news come out soon.
hpi, in some sense, i think it has no capability to introduce a 1/8 on-road. hara will then be paid by some other brand if he enters this race in miami. whatever he is driving, the race is more excited.
how about surukan, will he drive x'ray?

They absolutely do have the ability, their old car was pretty good but it just isn't economically viable for these companies to get into. Why spend all that money on design, R&D and production to sell a couple hundred kits when you can make a Blitz and sell thousands?

I am in Thailand at the TITC EP race and just spoke to Hara himself, it is confirmed as well as "public information", he will be running MUGEN, OS and ZAC!
