You can count on us.

Fuel economy is an issue. Bring the restrictors and 3 chamber pipes. 37s & 35s Ennetis on Philip's and my car. 37s on the outside.

I'll post our post our setups in a couple of days.

The word in Japan is that Mugen Japan will release MRX-4R with the new bulkheads, new shock towers, longer rear shock body, longer rear upper arm, and yellow clutch shoe included in the kit come mid February.

Awesome! Any other upgrades? Anyone prefere the 4.5mm rear lower arm overall or anyone run the stock 5.5mm or even 6.5mm. I changed to 4.5mm, but what sort of effect do they do?

Actually in sedan, there was one K-car. He didn't show up to run his main (and take his whoopin). The other 11 cars were MTX4's...

Oh yeah, the one non Mugen in the main is for sale.

Man, you guy WON'T belive this!! The REAL reason to my MRX4 sliding all over the place...was...a grub screw missing from the middle shaft!!!! So basically I was getting 2wd on the ground, even though all wheels spun in air! It sucks that Mugen doesn't include much spare gear, but my ancient old trusty NEO came to the rescue. It provided me with two similiar grub screws from it's handle mount!! How luckier can you get?! Saving old cars sometimes really is worth it I say! Now, the MRX4 will be running again as I figured it was a clutch issue, tire issue, etc. I'll be heading to FBF(floyd bennett field) today for some runs. Any last minute bashers are welcome!

HarKonnenD,

This is my understanding of the different blocks, the geometery of the 4.5mm provides a lower roll center --- this is good when the track has a higher bite and traction is up. The 6.5mm raises the roll center giving more side bite to the rear wheels --- better as traction goes down and the rear of the car becomes too loose. Loose is fast if you have the throttle finger to control it, some of the fast guys that I race with run the 4.5mm when I'm running the 5.5mm.The trade off is that I get an easier to control car and they get one that rotates throught the corner better.
The other options that also effect roll center are the rear upper arms (mugen) and the front upper arms (Kawahara).

As far as other upgrades there is are a lot of new options;
from http://www.mugenracing.com/

At the Vegas race last week most went from 5.5mm to 6.5mm to find a little more on power traction going through the left sweeper.

Good luck.

Ran the Spectrum in 3 cars this summer, FK04 X-Ray, NTC3 and Proceed. I experienced troubles with my receiver in the NTC3. All functions of the car would quit for a second and then come back on line, which made for some interesting off track excursions 5 times durring a 45 minute main. The other two receivers worked great and luckily Todd Hodge was up here for a race and just swapped a new receiver for the bum one! I switched all my receivers over to my carpet cars for the winter and from the very first run nothing worked well. I have since discovered that my TX module has been recalled (Futaba) to re-route the antena wire, so I am going to send all my gear back to Horizon and see what I get back.
John.
