yeah, you learn about ways to "safety proof" your car after you lost left rear suspension, when a backmarker races you after letting you pass and use you as brake on the last lap while you are on a TQ run.

But in actuality, the shock popped out only happened to me a handful of times with my MRX3 with the current design, but happened to me more on my XRAY and old Serpent 1/8th when they have the same design as the MRX4 now.

With the long wheelbase I run the B ackerman. With the short wheelbase I run the D ackerman. If your car is nervous go to the A ackerman.

Don't get me wrong Mr. Chan. I was referring to the pic border r/c posted for the Dutch Champ.

Of course, Serpent is great car. It always has been.

Period.

Hi, i am just looking for some advice on purchasing a pair of servos for my mrx4.

I am looking to use JR servos and am currently using the JR servos DS8455 for steering and DS8425 for throttle in my mtx3. I am very happy with the performance of the servos and was wondering if they would be suitable for use in the mxr4? Im only starting out in 1/8th so absoloute performance isnt really an issue yet. Im just after a pair of JR servos that will do the job reliably.

Thanks.

I use Futaba 9402 servos, and have never had a problem with them. The 9402 has about 110 oz. inches of torque and a response time of .11 seconds (or thereabout). As long as your JR servos have at least that much torque and response time, you should be OK.
