Thanks for the offer but I just got the car with lots f extas from a friend for 50 dollars I'm just lookin for spur gears the motor screws loosened up and that was that. You can't find parts for these cars any more I'm probably going to have to match a spur and modify it. Thank god we have a machine shop at work so making something fit hopefully won't be a problem.

Ok so I used a hpi first gear 49t had to open the center hole to fit over the hub on the gear holder then I had to remove the 2 plastic molded pins on the gear after that I made 2 new holes In The gear and bolted it to the holder with 3mm bolts and nuts and it works great! I'll post pics when I get home for anyone else with this problem. At least now I'll be able to get spurs if needed.

HPI makes Mod 1.0 spur gears for the Nitro RS4. They don't have a 48-tooth spur gear specifically, but they have 37, 39, 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 49, and 52-tooth spur gears. You can cut the tabs off the back of the RS4's spur gear, widen the hole in the middle to fit the GT-4's spur gear carrier, and use the GT-4's spur gear carrier as a template to drill screw-holes into the RS4's spur gear.
