Default Clutch pieces

I am converting my Jato into BB .21 on-road motor. I am having trouble deciding which clutch is the best for a Big Block on-road setup. 2piece, 3piece, or Ofna 4 piece clutch system?

It depends on if you plan on running the truck in the dirt. Most onroad vehicles use a centex style clutch but these don't fair well in an offroad environment but give 100% contact patch to the clutch bell ie extremely hard accelaration. The amount of shoes just changes the actual contact area to the clutch. A 4 shoe will engage harder than a three shoe.
It all depends on the gound surface. If you run on a parking lot surface you might try a 4 shoe but you probally will still spin the tires. A three shoe is middle of the road. A two shoe will be the lightest hitting of the three; but may hook up with the surface you are driving on.
You need to figure how much traction will be available from the surface you are driving that will determine what clutch to install. Also look at the tires you will be using; rubber or foam tires. Foam tires will yield more traction but wear quicker than rubber tires.

Pass you soon...

I beleive its kyosho (other manufacturers may have as well) has a centrifugal 2-shoe clutch with large clutch shoes shaped like 2 half circles with a groove in the middle for a coilspring to wrap around... It had a large contact surface and good spring pressure for proper engagement. I used it with an on-road .21 conversion. It worked well for me.
