Brad Makaric from Windsor also ran the car with Jim's help. Jordan Krupp from Hamilton picked up a used Parsec about 5 years ago to add to his collection.
Pasec also had a 235mm 10th Scale Car. One won the Canadian Nationals in Quebec City.
WOW! Mr. Elliot, great memory! It was 1995, you and I up front, I don't think there was more than a lap or two between us at the end of the 1 hour main. The two speed had backed off on me with 5 or 10 minutes to go and I was limping around in 1st gear, trying not to blow the engine on the long back straight.
I was just wasting some of my Boss' time this afternoon and Googled RC Parsec and found this thread. I had to join and pipe in because it is one of my most favourite RC memories.
I still have my 1/10 Parsec, with enough parts to build a second one. You guys are correct, Mike Nuenes got hold of the injection molds for the Parsec line and tried to start it up for a couple years before I lost contact with him. He was working out of his auto shop in Whitby, somewhere off Thickson Road.
