Well I am sure this will be moved but I did not know where to post this. Two question.

What is the differnce between a 40hz and a 75hz synthesized radio??

Second if I buy from an overseas vendor will my manual be in english?

Sorry again if this is in the wrong place.

40 MHz is used overseas and is against FCC laws in the US I believe, so stick with 75.

Not sure on the manual, but I would suggest getting your radio from a local shop or horizonhobbies.com for example. Do a known reputable place in the US, in case you have any trouble. The small amount more you might have to pay will all wash out in the end anyways and the XS3 isn't expensive to begin with.

I believe you can't use 40 hz in US. Stick with the 75 hz. No difference... it's just the frequency that the radio uses. It depends where you buy it overseas you buy it Hong Kong or Japan you might have troubles.. it might be Chinese or Japanese. Also some radio company's( I really don't know about JR )but futaba's that are bought overseas (Megatech) are not valid in the US and you will have to pay for parts and labor.

I am sure it will be in ENGLISH, or at least you can download one from its website.
However, doing 40MHZ radio in USA is against FCC law, yes, POLICE will arrest you, cause the frequency is interfirence with the POLICE or EMERGENCY agent's frequency....so do it in your own risk.
But, how offen the police will do that.....so far, I never seen or heard one...but also, when your radio need repair or service, NO USA dealer will service that, not even you pay them, cause they will not have the parts nor they will take the responsability to ASSIST someone that use illegal radio.

stick with the 75mhz or 27 mhz FM or PCM
