I am going to Japan this thursday, and I was wondering if there are any hobby shops there.

Make it easy for your self..when you get there,ask the people there or if you stay at the hotel go to the front desk..I have been there Japan many times and there is alot hobbies in tokyo

are the parts reasonable? I will be purchacing RC Car parts, and Foam tires

I am assuming you mean prices. To anwser that, on Japanese brands, the parts are the cheapest in the world

Try Akihabara, that is the electronics district. I think there are several big ones there. You can get to Akihabara quite easily by subway. But once you get there, it could be confusing as it's a pretty big area. The best thing is to ask your concierge to call and check ahead and draw you a map of the shops from the subway stop.

i went to 2 stores in akihabara. they are walking distance from the subway. it was like a kid in a candy store. so much selection, so much to look at, spend all my money.

How did you guy know about Akihabara that's the largest electronic city product in Japan..Good place to shop..Iknow there're three hobbies store there in the area and I use to have the address. But got to look for it...

Yes some parts are cheaper than other...But you have to make sure that ask them or the store worker... for a discount on sell items

If you are ther, print this out and use it. It is a guide to Hobby shops in Akihabara. I used it a month ago to find them all. RC Champ was my favorite.
