Thanks for the feedback. You guys that said no to the pulleys what other things would you spend your money on before aluminium pulleys? Just curious... I have our state championship coming up in a few weeks and want to make sure the car is really ready to go for it. Engines I'm sweet with but the car, any speed secrets would be great.... Thanks again.

Chris, I ran my car pretty much standard out of the box during the aussie nationals on your home track. I always run the mugen's in their standard form and truly believe there stock parts are all you need. I qualified 5th and missed out on the top four however it was the second time I ran the car. The secret for speed is consistency

No hopup parts can substitute this. Follow the Japanese setup sheet and mount the body at 18mm from the centre of the front pumper as it works well on your track.

Thanks mate, I do totally agree that consistancy is the key. Not always easy though!! Will you be running the states here?

I would like to as I enjoy the track and its the closes state event for us Melbourne guys. However I am going to the worlds in April and will be flat out preparing for the event.

Steve, mount the P909 at 18mm with the body post pushed back. If you need a little more steering then move the post forward. Don't go any more forward then more then 20mm as I have learned the hard-way.

Default Option Parts

Just to share i am running a fully kitted Arowmax option parts(even the new rear alu knuckle) on my 5 with additional of CSo pulley and twin belt tensioner.

The car still behave as original but i can it is more durable and less wear and tear on this option parts.

I guess this route is for a beginner driver like me who crash alot.
Got the car home 1 pc after a 45min main. Which i cant do on the stock 5 as they tend to break in certain place and repairing will take me out of the race instantly.

Hey Guys,

I have been running the Blitz R09 body ( body of choice at our track ) but my LHS is out of stock. Has anyone tested the R09 against the R11?

Thanks
