That's not what I meant, but still you guys immediately have to jump into defence mode....

I said that people should stop buying these after market products and stick to what the OEM, in this case Mugen, brings on the market.

But no, most stopped reading the rest of my post, after the first line....

I believe the point was that even the best of the best find it helpful to try out some other parts from time to time so why shouldn't the rest of us?

But for the most part, I agree with you.

I am not very good with history.. but i think its a Mugen's legacy.. since the early Mugen cars, there has always been more 3rd party hop ups for Mugen than any other brands.

Maybe i am wrong..

I like seeing new parts for this car here. That way I don't have to search through a "products" page.

Allthough I got crazy with all these aftermarket option parts for MRX5 I prefer to wait for original mugen ones.
Have you noticed any mugen driver in the preworlds using these option parts????

Nobody use thatīs things in preworlds...

Pietch, fukuda, Swagwer, Ricky...do you know why?

Simple they are top divers...this car is the best 1/8 car...

Mugen when out a car on the market is to win...to be the best...simple donīt need that marketing thinks..

when a custmor buy a Mugen ...the stock kit is to be the best...

No need to do upgrades...like others brands do in REDRC

MUGEN is a racing company not a toy company...

and last this is EUROPEAN CHAMPION in the first race...against COLLARRI the best of the best...COLLARI 9 times world Champ..

SORRY about my English..but i think you can undersant the ideia...

Good look to everyone...

The why is simple, they do not may use or want to buy other brand products....

Mugen is not a toy company? Explain the Prime12, MSX3 and the MST...

And do a real investigation to Collari, most EC's and GP's he does not win, it seems he is only focused on the WC's.

Roelof, I used to think you were a relatively intelligent guy. Do you seriously believe that Collari isn't trying to win every race he enters? Saying that the only race Collari gives 100% for is the worlds has got to be the most rediculous thing i've read today.

Sorry to get off topic everyone. I'll shut up now.

The most important race is the worlds & thats were every driver & most importantly give it there all.
I believe collari was qouted @ the last Worlds he is more focused & gives it his all for the worlds

Then explain why he wins every worlds but struggles to even make the main at the EC's?

Default Weight

How much is this car weighing in stock trim with full size servos and no added weights?
If weight needs to be added to make minimum allowable, where are people adding it? Somewhere I read that one of the top drivers likes the weight up front...true?

yes the car is under weight and were u add it depends on how it feels to u everyone of us drives different so u have to try them out for yourself.. far as option parts again one driver might use a carbon chasis and it handles beter to the way he drives another may not like it nothing wrong with trying things its the way of life.. i used the light weight axles with the tit dog bones all around and the ti. levers that lock the wheels on with light weight rims and i deff see the diff out of the coner. reason pros dont use these things is they make such power with the engine and clutch there menchanics know how to work the inside of these motors to gain the most for that paticular track. so for a driver on my level if i can gain an advantage from aftermarket parts then so be it.... my opinion
