Hi there,

how about gearing the 5 - did the internal drive ratio change? If I know my preferred gearing for a given track (e.g. 20/45 2nd gear) can I use that on the 5 as well?

Thanks a lot, Stefan

are you using the kit clutch? since my clutch was direct from V*, i notice that the clutch bell could touch the chassis so drill work must be done. i did not build the Mugen clutch yet, so maybe it's not necessary, just check from the bottom view like my photo attached

So is the MRX5 is heavy or light car in standard kit form?

Does it need to go on a diet or not?

ah, i did not weight it in standard.

to me, weight is hazardous to speed, full set of ti screw has been order. but may add weight on the chassis if balance is needed.

do not worry about the pics, there are some friction belts that are all black inside
and others are kind of brown just like the pics posted here, got those mbl for the mtx3 since mugen racing ran out of those belts and for the price they are excellent quality,
