You have to bend the levers back about 1 mm. They won't break as long as you go slow and not to much.

They released the WC version in Aug/Sep so I don't expect anything new this year.

But something new: Looks like Collari may race a Mugen this year...

Ok i had this same problem a will back,
MRX5 manual page (9) #20
MY fix was to adjust the offset at the hub,
remove the inside H2205 closes to the brakes.
On the side with the lever use two(2) H0268 & one (1) H2205 worked for ME

I got information that they will optimize something on the break system. Small changes...
I don't know exactly what they will change.

Default Glithes?

Hi guys.

I´m back to 1/8 scale, and Mugen MRX5 is my first choice.

I just wanted to know if the original glitch problems, that even made Mugen redisign the position of the reciever box earlyer, are defenetly solved.

My radio combo is a M11X with RX451 FHSS reciever.

thanks in advance.

Glad you're back!!!! I'm also glad you're looking at the MRX5!!!

I've been running the car and have NEVER had a glitch problem. I have the same radio and receiver that you have, with Lipo!

Can someone explain the differences between the MRX5 and the MRX5WC?

Yes I know the parts are different because the front anti rollbar and the clutch but:

- The chassis is thicker or any other differences?
- What is different with the front bulkheads? (on the pics they do look the same)

The 5WC is almost builded and for an interesting price I could get the hands on a normal 5 kit which I want to use for spareparts (a lot do fit)

the front bulk heads are longer to accommodate the new wire bar mount and so the body post mount is also different

Harder material used for the rear pin holders. Makes the car react more responsively. Its a noticeable difference. Also has a dual belt tensioner. Bulkheads on the WC are also a harder material. The WC chassis is thicker than previous chassis but lighter so they weight within two gram of each other. Hope this helps some.

Those are the obvious noticeable changes. To me it is more about the interchangeable possibillity.

I had a 5 converted to a '5WC' by getting the front bulkheads and lower arms to fit in the wire roll bar. That's all there is to it...
