Questions??

How easy is it to drill a hole through the Mugen titanium turnbuckles and does doing so significantly compromise their strength? Want to use these in the upper arms, but it looks like the plastic has to be cut away in order to get a turnbuckle wrench in there for adjustment, which I'd like to avoid.

Also, does anyone here have any experience with the Mugen titanium pivot balls? I run on a track with wooden boards and don't make a habit of bouncing my car off those boards, but am wondering how these hold up.

Questions?? Where to measure the 6 and 7 millimeters below the machine

Where to measure the 6 and 7 millimeters below the machine?
I abitually put my 6 and 7 mm. near the front axle precisely under the screw of the save servo, and in rear under the axis of the exchange, is right?

With a good sharp bit it drills very easy. Hold them in a vise and if you have a drill press it's even easier. I drill a 1.2mm hole and use a 90 deg. miniature pick tool to adjust. The turnbuckle will bend before it breaks where the hole is drilled.
The ti balls hold up very well. I've bent one since 1998...

Lunsford. 3x1inch and 3x 28mm. Get two of each. There ti is soft compared to Mugens but the extra length really helps.
Glad ya got your balls....she must be a mean one

Below is what i found from japanese website, i will try to do the google translation, but the correct meaning will be a little weird.

(1st.ギヤ:49T/2nd.
