Hi there,
a quick question about bearings for the MRX5:
With the introduction of the smaller bearings for the uprights, bearing quality and maintenence became more of an issue for me. I used to run Acer ceramics in both the MRX4 and 5, but looking for alternatives.
What bearings do you guys use, and whats your maintenance/replacement schedule? I am competing on the national level in Europe, so I want a free spinning set of bearings and I will completely rebuild the car before every race meet (all 4 weeks with some practice in between)....
Was looking at Bocca -whooping expensive, and ABEC35 - lots of options ther which are confusing and they recommend to grease ceramics (which will slow them down)...
Thanks, Stefan

Welcome to the ultra lite race car. I have tried a bunch of stuff. It has been the inner bearings in the front and rear up-rites that have the shortest life span. At this point the best bearing I have found for use in this area is the mugen bearings that come in the ten pack. They are a step above what comes in the kit. The rest of the car I am using avids steel with rubber shields. I am weighing the car this weekend and replacing everything with ceramic except for the inside up-rite bearings.

Thanks a lot for your follow-up Drew! You are right man, the bearings in the bulkheads are a real pain in the backside. I have already switched to the Mugen OEM parts there. Interesting that you found that the aftermarket bearings are better then the ones in the kit. I will give them a shot as well...

Hey guys I lost my MRX-5 and it's currently out of stock in my country. Does anyone know the cheapest place I can get a kit and have it delivered to South Korea? If anyone knows any places that does international shipping, that would be great. Thanks in advance!
