Thanks, I got it from ralphierace13, and I found it someplace in this thread.

It was one way of fixing the stock belt being so long it works great. There are other ways currently to do the same thing.

Seems to work good so I will keep it until it no longer works or the side belt gets shorter.

Things i have learned so far on here.

1. there are different cones that can work better or fit better.
2. some think all the mugen parts and any cone just work.
3. post a picture of anything but stock parts and that must be the problem.
5. explain something technically and lose people even more.

and the last one...."find the fastest guy at the track and ask him."

Its really not a big deal, I have learned what I needed and thats great because thats what this forum is for.

And with Brian Berry not racing this year that only leaves me as the fastest mugen guy currently. errr I mean guy with a mugen car.

I will show Brian it, along with Paul C. and Josh C. I am sure they will point me to a Cone first also.
You forgot Lon Burling II ! I recall putting 140 some laps on you at the fort. lol

I also run the NR flash motor with the mugen clutch and had to sand the cone down to make the clutch work. My guess is the newest Flash motors come with a different cone than the old ones and thats our issue. The first post after your first post on here jeff had a part number listed for a cone. Which cone was that? After reading all this I think the gap between the flywheel and bearing is the main issue.

I will take a picture of it to show you all.

The normal brass weight is around 40. In FT Myers my car was 150g light

My car is now 170g light most of it is drive line. and whats not is just good planing. I will be replaceing the 170g mostly with a Tugensten battery plate.

Should be pretty neat, the lightness of my car is not from a lipo battery it would be even lighter 220g or more with a lipo.

Anyways I thought I would share some of you might think its pretty trick.
Where did you find the tungsten material?

Thanks,
Brad

They will make you any size stock that you want. I can not answer reguarding machine work.
Just a note. We stopped using tungsten for crank slugs awhile ago, stuff can be pain in the arse to weld. We are using a material that is called "heavy metal". Machines and welds much better.

I think I contacted them.

Way to much money or I had to buy X amount.

I bought a 4x4x .200 sheet.

it was 185 enough to make 2 chassis weights

I will post where i got it when I get home.

Sure thing.

Pretty excited just to show it off.

I also made mine a tiny bit thicker then the brass one I had, there was a little room to do this, and i wanted all the weight i could put in that location.

I suppose I can look at it even though you run a mugen

Ok This started as 4 x 4 x .250

Here are my 2 weights I had made out of tungsten and my brass weight.

The brass weight is 40g

The 2 Tungsten weights are 148 each.

The thickness of the brass weight is 2.0mm

The thickness of my tungsten weights are 3.25

Here are the pictures.
