the problem i see the most is the tie rod snaps right after the end of the ball end cup or the end of the cup with the tie rod in it or just the stright piece after the cup, that y i had told john to make up the 4mm i felt the thickness of the 4mm and a stronger ball end cup would help, what gets me is mugen sees all these pics and posts and they cant do a thing about it, they have to know its a problem hell 90% of the drivers are not swagger we smash more often!!!! lol

john i got an idea, billy what about this, can u make the arm so u can put a pivot ball in it, and make the end piece like: picture the old 4 knuckle if u cut the top off, and made it out of aluminum and its molded with the bottom plate so it fits into the 5 knuckle and has the holes for the 2 screws, and we would use the pivot ball caps and insets just like the way the 4 was, that would be real strong...

You could try using Shepherd front upper hinge pins. They are intentionally very soft so they will bend in a hard crash, saving the other components and allowing you to finish the race.
