i recommend... dont buy 2nd hand car.

a lot of thing to consider.

1) you are not the one who built it (if your buy a PRO KIT).
2) you dont know whether the car has been built properly or not.
3) you dont know which part has been broken, going to be broken, worn off, bla bla bla.
4) chasis maybe tweaked!!!! (this is crazy man!)
5) she is not a VIRGIN!! hehehee.... (at least she got experience)

if you buy it as a spare part... then it is OK.

IT IS BETTER to HOLD and SEE and SNIFF the car thoroughly before you make the purchase dude!

I haven't had any problem on buying used kits,.... but it has to be very cheap to start with,... so if anything happen,... you'll still have some spare money to go shopping,...
I did it (buying used) to test a very expensive model which I don't want to b uy new,... if it's good,... I'll buy a new kit anyway , hehe..... but at least I have two identical cars now,.. one for practice, one for racing...

just my 2 cts

I've never had good luck with second hand cars. I always have to put way too much money into them to get them to run right.

that is why i already said before:

thats mean... you have to go and SEE THE FIRST OWNER and GET TO KNOW HIM and HOLD THE CAR and SNIFF THE CAR LIKE A DOG to detect all the smallest defect.

if satisfied... then buy. dont be like me. never sniff the car.... a lot of hidden money eater.
