Hi

The G4JR is based on the 2008 spec G4RS. It is a different layout to the current 2009 edition G4RS. Having said this parts will be alot easier to get then the G4 Black edition!

The G4JR is a good starting point and can easily be upgraded as needed.

It is what it is, a starter car.

Don't invest anymore into it than just parts, fuel, tires and plugs to keep you running. Once you start considering upgrades, it will be time to let it go.

Do you have a radio? Everyone knows that you get nothing but crappy radios on RTR kits. Do yourself a favor get a good radio especially nowadays when everyone is going 2.4ghz. Don't live in the past and get an FM or worse AM radio.

If you really want to get something decent at an affordable price, I think you can get an MTX4 kit for about $350

For motors go with only Nova Rossi or Picco. RBs are good too.
