Thumbs up Qualed 45th, Finished 3rd!

Congrats Toso! Looks like another "Iron Man Performance"! @ the ROAR Fuel Nats.

Note to Self, I'm gonna look like F-King Idiot if Chris wasn't Wheeling the Capricorn Sedan, but WTF, this Thread needed a Bump anyways.

I was hoping he hadn't "Flipped Channels" w/Snake INC, maybe was only the 8th Scale class being Serpent. It would be too ironic since Toso started this thread to begin with, and now just "Moved On"! Oh well

Why should I?

Oh Drat...............gonna have to dig out the Manual,......And,.............. the Manual doesn't give you all the necessary specs, (only lists a choice of 25 or 26 T outer middle shaft sprockets, lists # of teeth on all but Front and Rear Diff Sprockets), I'd have to obtain the remaining info then calclulate! (Could it possibly be the same as the NT1?),...... I'll get back to ya!

It's the same drivetrain configuration as the NT1, so a 2mm tire split with the 25T side-pulley and a 0mm split with the 26T side-pulley.

Capricorn only has the shock springs that come with the car. Are these spring good on everything? They feel a little hard.

I drove myself crazy last night trying to do just that, (too lazy to remove the diff from the car), as best I can determine, it's 41T.

I thought the same way like you did about springs being quite hard, but all I can say is balance is very good with stock springs, in combination with hard dampening(2 hole shocks and 60wt oil from the kit).

Today I tested the car more, and liked it more. First, I changed the rear camber link position to the longest, and car instantly had more grip at rear, especially out of the corners. Then I tried the rear roll center eccentrics to the lowest position, and rear end had even more grip, but it resulted in some high speed understeer. Then I layed down the front shocks, so it had more mid corner steering. At the end of the day, it was all good and I was putting in really consistent laps. Tires were xceed 40 rear 37 front, and they were down to 52mm and still going well.
