Is NE crime rate up ? Coz, last time I lived there back in the 90's it was pretty much a safe town.

With that said, no matter how big or small the barrel, there's always the chance that a few bad apples will spoil it!!!!!! AND, sadly that is what happened at this event.
The starter box was recovered - an innocent mistake is what I heard. The car and temp gun are still missing......
BUT, there's still some time AND the Lincoln Police were interested enough that they took a report. Who knows, the thief might do something even more stupid and get caught!!!

Fun day.
Race has been well run. The hosts have been marvelous. Very friendly people, warm and welcoming. The media coverage has drawn out quite a few locals to watch the race. We've had no less than 25 spectators at any time - occasionally, 50 or more watching. HobbyTown did a good job, locally, promoting the event.
The racing has been very exciting. There is no driver with a clear edge. The main events will be wild. 60 minutes on a 14 sec track will drain the drivers. Tire wear is to the high side. Pit work will be very important, as will fuel and tire strategies.
Too bad if you missed the event. The weather could have been better, but, the decisions from race management kept spirits high and no complaining has gone on in the pits.
We have another two or three hours to go....
