Are you making judgment of our track or on ROAR? If you want to decide where the races are volunteer to be on the committee that chooses where the races are.
I raced the Fireball last year, both classes. Had a lot fun and like the track a lot for sedan.1/8th is a little tighter than "I" would like but it is O.K. I was glad when I heard you got the sedan Nats. I was disgusted with the decision to combine them because after running both classes at last years Nats I ended up in both semi's and even with a dedicated pit man had to scramble to get tires trued with hopes of bumping to the finals. I also no somebody who finished really really well in 1/8th scale that did not even run sedan because he would not run both classes at the event. I am now probably just going to run 1/8th at this years Nats for the same reason that is all.

As far as becoming a committee member as far as I understand all of those people have been appointed if you catch my drift............... I will express my opinion when I vote for the next officials and maybe then I can be appointed and have some say on all of the events I attend. I won't clutter up this thread anymore I just wanted to respond to let you know I have no problem with the track, just the situation.

Uriah,

Blame it on your popularity! How can you repair those cars with all the interruptions you had in the pits... I know I interrupted you at least three times... and you graciously helped me everytime. I greatly appreciate it too...

Don't hesitate to interupt me next time you need a hand...

Hope to see everyone in Lincoln.

Dont break so much.

I honestly didnt have a problem running 2 classes, it made my trip more worthwhile because I spent the same amount of travel money for 2 classes. Only problem I had was being slow.

Why do people always have to complain? When it comes down to it, for 98% of us its still and amateur hobby and we have to pay our own way, so having both classes at the same time saves us money.

The Lincoln airport is probably less than 2 miles from the track. But, as someone said, it mya be cheaper to fly into Omaha and drive to Lincoln.

I believe ROAR opens sign up 90 days before the event.
