Does anyone still make 280-300mm bodies for "super" sized touring / rally cars?

HPI - the RS4 Super Nitro & Rally in both 280 & 300 sizes. Both can still be found in LHS or E bay. HPI also make a 300mm body for the 1/8 Proceed.

Look on Ebay there are quite a few new and used bodies just listed. Look under RS4 Super Nitro

Thats what I have, the super nitro rally. Used bodies are going at a minimum of $45, new bodies clear or painted anywhere from $50-90


Seems like alot for a piece of lexan lol. Are the Tamiya TGX bodies the same size as the HPI?

I may check out the Z body, since it's a rally I'm not sure they really purposly jumped any R390's LOL

The Tamiya's are 300mm and fit fine. But are just as hard and even more expensive than the hard to find HPI bodies.

If you guys are super nitro fans, you should really pay attention to the super nitro thread on the other forum. I know there is a very old thread on rctech, but most of those that follow this car can be found on rccaraction.

I just ordered a couple GTP bodies from Mcallister Racing, seemed like a great guy to do business with..very helpful.

My bodies Just arrived from Mcallister. I highly recommend them.

Great looking stuff. I ordered a toyota GTP and a Nissan GTP, both look great. They also thru in another toyota GTP body in for free that was slightly blem'd. Its a smokin deal for 13-14 bucks a piece. comes complete with wings, window masks, and the nissan also came with decals.

Im glad you liking the bodies they are tight work!!!

You got decals with you nissan??? i didn't when i got mine all i got was 2 decals that sayed NISSAN. I have tons of decals left over from other bodies ive so with that i left it looking real nice.

Not a giant issue, just wondering!

Yeah thats all i got too, I got 4 though but my buddy has ability to make custom vinyl, i want mine to look like the r90cp

Funny, I have a 300mm 350Z painted in that color scheme. I just need to finish putting the decals on.

As for the Mcallister Racing bodies, I might have to give one a try.
