Default new guy

Hello everyone,
I am just getting back into the RC scene after a long time (the last time I raced I had an RC-10, pre stealth transmission,) my wife bought me a Savage SS for Christmas and I got the bug again. I did a ton of stuff to the savage and decided that it was kind of boring. So I went to my local track (the Sugar Bowl) and fell in love with Gas on-road.
After talking to lots of people I decide to go with a Mugen MTX-3. I picked it up last week; I ordered my motor (Nova Mega SS) and associated radio gear. I can’t wait; I have the bug really bad.
I look forward to picking everyone’s brain for set-up tips.

Hi Harley guy,

if you need any set up advice for the Bowl, let me know and I'll try to help you out.

Uriah (grinder) is also a regular here if you need a second opinion.

I will be at the bowl next weekend for the first time this year, so come by and say hi.

Alright! We got another Nitro racer!! Good choice. I got a Yokomo GT-4, and my advice to u is getting 1st a better servo. Try a digital servo. Stronger and faster than stock servo's. And, try to tweak your 2 speed trans. timing by a few seconds going at full throttle. Works for me. I usually use my TC3 electric than my GT-4 cuz it's easier to clean but i could settle back into my nitro after i fix some few things.
