steering servo trim
Hi guys i've heard from somewhere that adjusting the steering trim to max (eg. having the steering set at full steer by the remote) will burn or shorten the lifespan of the steering servo. Meanwhile a guy at the track told me it will not hurt the servo at all! so whats fiction and whats non-fiction or whos right and whos wrong :P

Has anybody ever tried adjusting steering servo speed on the 3PK? I adjust mine to 1% and it is still as fast as the 100% setting???

I tried slowing down the steering servo and the throttle servo. The throttle works but the steering doesnt. I tried swapping over the servos but the throttle still works so It must be the transmitter.
I cant see any settings that switch the steering speed off or on

correct me if im wrong but i dont think you can set the speed in which the wheels will turn. for the wheels to turn faster you'd have to have a good servo like a high torque one. only thing you can set with the steering is how much the wheels will turn when you tell the car to turn with your radio. but again im new so not 100% sure but im 99.99% sure

Brain Teased, with high end radios, such as the 3PK that ziggy's got, you can adjust the speed at which the servo moves. It is helpful, especially with fast servos that can make a car feel too twitchy due to the uncanny speed.
Ziggy, I'd just say talk with someone else that has the 3PK in your area to help troubleshoot this, to find if indeed its something to do with the transmitter itself. You never know what ideas another person's going to give you that you never thought of, so its worth a try if you haven't done this already.
