Setup Station Or tweak Station?
hi guys,
Need your opinion on this, Right now I have to choose between a setup station and tweak station, which one do you guys think is more important or worth to get first? which one will be most beneficial and will make a big difference to the car? right now I only use the AE camber and droop gauge for my car and the for rest, I just eyeball it..

Definitely get the setup station. Far more important over a tweak station. Once you drive car thats been setup properly on a setup station, you'll never go back to the eyeball system. Its a night and day difference, at least for me, or maybe thats because my eyeballs don't look straight?? I just bought the Hudy Ultimate Setup Station. A little more money than anyone elses but your garunteed a good setup every time!

I agree with what SupermaxxRich and B said.
Although both are very useful tools but if you need to choose what to
get first, I suggest to get the Set Up Station first.

Set-up board/gauges! Not even a close decision.
Sorry to be blunt, but I had the same decision to make and was able to do both, luckily.
Still as of yet to use the tweak.

Hudy is one of the most versatile, Integy makes one in Al and there's a PMB set-up very similar to the Hudy.
All of them are better than eye-balling or using calipers.
I like the Hudy board and the Integy set-up plates [easier to read and I like the stable/weighted plates. However, they won't work very well with suspension-body systems like the V1RR & Evo. Hudy has a bunch of different plates to accomodate almost every car, although Integy has a way to accomodate the NTC3.

I've set up my tc3's(nitro cars) and my r40,and my veteq using my hudy set ups.....and a std RPM/Serpent camber guage(and the tc3 std one also).....with the amount of slop(ball bearing,etc) I've found the guages to be just as accurate as the set up station....
I've found my MIP and NIFTECH tweak stations to be indispensible in setting tweak....and notice the biggest gains in handling coming from this area...esp. with the quality(and rate difference) in todays kit springs.....
Case in point......

I you are serious about your racing, then a set of Set-up Gauges makes it so much easier and faster to make adjustments. Setting Toe is easy and accurate.
Hudy: plastic and lighter, more expensive.
Integy: Aluminum, just as accurate, less costly.
BOTH will get the job done.
As a second item, I would purchase a pair of Calipers. You won't use them as much as the Set-up Gauges, but are invaluable for setting shock length, keeping the Car the same width on both sides and measuring Foam Tire diameter.
Lastly, a Tweek Station. This is the easiest way to keep our Cars driving and braking straight and true. The Laser stations are nice, but the bubble level kind work just as well at 1/2 the price.
