Toom-Sorry to inform you Roy passed away a couple of years ago...my wife and I exchange Christmas cards with Mrs. Moody (Roberta). This past year she mentioned that some of the old guard (Greg Zelinski, I think) is working to keep Roy's Monee Raceway going, but it is getting difficult...

I'm sad to here about Roy. Back in the day I knew Roy, Roberta and Roy's daughter (who was a pretty good driver!). The last time I saw Roy was in the
early 90's here in Houston at a indoor dirt track oval. He was here promoting

Yeah, I have been away due to job and Health problems, but I'm getting the itch to start racing again. I'm glad to see the thread kept alive by you dedicated pan car guys.
I see Garen is still supporting this class of racing. I have the Motonica P8C. I did put it together but never have run it. I also bought a DFX Vortex car which I have not completed. I might as well try the WRC car, I always liked that car. Who knows. I might even run one of these cars in a Houston SWSC
