Default Club Ports

Toledo only!

You can run the same number of ports as your last year point standing place. Myself= 3 ports, Joe= 1 port, and so on. I think the 3mm restricter needs to stay, but in all motors. You can get some crazy power these days, but we are not the go as fast as you can class. That is a important part of the appeal of the class.

Anyone have a parts supplier for my DXF Premium pan car. I-Model has some things but not everything I need.

Thanks

Jeff

Yes, we have had several Pan cars. We raced them quite a bit in the MWS series. They are good fun and fairly easy to keep running as far as gas cars go. When the traction is up at the Dallas track the Pan cars would work well there I think.

I’m looking to get back into 1/8 on-road with a pan car (I’ve been out of it almost 25 years). I recently relocated to metro Detroit and plan on checking out the Toledo track this spring. Any recommendations on chassis, motor, gearing, pipe, body and tire combinations to get me in the ballpark would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

They handle great, you actually have to drive the car, the throttle, brake and steering input are more critical. Like a real race car. A TC drives easy compared to a 2wd pan car.

chassis. Jason Irwin has chassis. Other guys will have to comment on which chassis they like best as I build my own.

All the current chassis are very evenly matched with pros and cons to em all. The Forfaster Z1 has perhaps a slight edge. Anyone of them set up good, are only as good as their driver.
