I've noticed that there are some incredibly old racers on here so maybe this is my best bet at scraping up some parts. I'm not looking for some stone carved wheels, wooden chassis parts or radio control chariots, I'm trying to find parts for this:

As it turns out, getting laps at the fort was not easy. As Rick mentioned I was racing in the sedan class, and though I had the WRCs with me, there was controlled practice most of the week, and I could not run with any of the classes in that scenario. Also, we did have 1/2hr open practice at the end of the day, but the day I put the car on the track I realized my clutch bearing was blown, so it was a frustrating attempt to get laps. Not to mention some of these sessions were packed with amped pro drivers and not the best time to get a feel for the track.

As I have mentioned before, there seems to be support for 2wd in Florida and in future Forgass series, but in order to give everyone a chance to see us in action, we will need to plan ahead so that we gain entrance into these races. I am happy to take the lead on this, working with the track owners and organizers to determine the minimum entrant #s for us to race at these events. It will be a great help in 2014 for us to work together so that we can get the numbers, and if we succeed in this, everyone will get a chance to see us race and practice around Florida, which I am sure will stir interest in the class.

Your feedback is helpful. We need to set out a plan to add this class to another region in the US, and Florida seems to me the obvious next step.

Additionally, the KO Race in LA is another opportunity for the pan class. Again, if we can produce enough drivers for the event, they will likely welcome our participation. So anyone interested in these races are welcome to contact me so that I know who can participate, and from there we can build a roster of drivers and contact the race coordinators.

Hey , guys almost completed my winter project. My objective is to bring back parking lot racing . I wanted to make a car based on the cars you guys are running but with enough flex to run on a less than perfect surface. This is what I came up with half WRC half Associated. Can't wait until the weather warms up so I can test it out.

Default Well Done!

Nitrohead, Very nice! Was wondering about the front end, looks weak. Why not bolt the much stronger WRC front end directly to your chassis, leaving all that pivot stuff off? Just saying! Hopefully, we'll get to meet up and run some laps this year. Good luck with your project!

Thanks , Mopar I suspect you are right this front end won't hold up in competion but this car is just a prototype. If the basic design allows the car to handle on a bumpy surface , I will be beefing up the front end I already have another design in mind for the front end.

A pan car and a bump do not get along, this we know. A bumpy surface and a pan car is more demanding of the driver then a smooth surface. If everyone is running a pan, you got a race. Back in the day when we were all running pans, we were also running on parking lots, it was fun! and if it's fun you went, you're headed the right way. Plus your cars will be great to race with the current pan cars too! A win, win for you! Keep in mind that a bump and power don't mix well either, keep the power down and go faster.

Jason, Nice to hear from you too! Looking forward to your return to Toledo. We have something like 21 races going this year so it's hard to think about going else where, but what's going on at Port Jarvis? I told you guys that I would come over to race with you, just say when. Anyone coming with you (you could use the help, LOL) Just kidding, you know we're here for you.
