Me too! Where I worked I learned how they make money but not how to run a busness !

I would be able to spend the time but don't have money...

Default MOTONICA PAN CAR FANS!

I think I've got some good news! I've heard from the grapvine (actually was reminded that I asked a question on another forum) that there is a new source for Motonica cars and parts in the USA!

DOA Racing
Contact: Anna
1235 Golden Bluff Lane
Fuquay Varina, NC 27526
919-285-3052 Phone
DOAracing@gmail.com

This is off the Motonica USA website, but I don't know how long it's been up there!

The word on the P81 forum is that they have parts and are shipping. I hope it works out for the pan cars too!

It's in NC, about 4 hours north of me, and my son lives within an hour for emergencies!

Ned

I hope the prices stay in line with what Garen was able to do.

Actually, I hope Garen has not fallen to the wayside!

Thanks for checking on that Ned, maybe Joe T. can find the rear end parts that he has been looking for.

I was quite impressed with Matt's first test, with the "Taylor Made" SPECIAL at the Toledo Track. I had been watching the progress of the car on this thread, and what a fantastic job he did building it. American Ingenuity at it's finest!!!

Ned, missed you at the Weak Signals Expo, quite a few people stopping by the booth, talking the old cars.

Garen was spotted at the Airtronics Race in L.A. but according to the race entries, was 'a non-combatant' in 1/8th as in the past. A 'source' talked to him and wondered the same thing.....where you been??? He said he has not been racing for a while but is contemplating a return.

Default Parts Update

I received an e-mail from the NC Hobby Shop carrying Motonica. Anna is getting ready to order parts and requests those wanting them to get in touch with her.

Also, She said they are building an "on-road track"!!! Is it too much for me to hope it is big enough for 1/8th scale gas?!?!!?!

We've been pushing these things around with simple 3 port on road engines. Plenty of power. Been thinking about Nova's n21b off road when the Motonica engine gives up.'

Power can be your enemy with 2wd.

Thanks Farmer

Wow these are inexpensive. I see at Absolute Hobbyz that their 21B is a pull start, but they have the N21-3T. Is the turbo (plug?) too much power? Comparing the two, I cant tell but it looks like the n21b may have a plastic carb. The N21-3T looks better made but not sure...
