Belt or shaft driven have your say!

Hi guys!
What do you racers prefer Belt driven cars or shaft driven cars and why!!!
and Which ones better V one S or FW 05S and why?
And from these 2 driveline setup which was is easiest on the transmission spur gears? and are there metal spur gears for the transmission? as plastic seems to wear out to fast!
