Rb V12 430

Just got my RB V12 today but it did not come with a collet on the engine. I was wondering if anyone knows if it takes a collet like an OS TR would take or is it a specific collet. Thanks for any help.

Oh the engine will be going on a Serpent 705. Thanks.

Engine collets

lowbugit;

Some Engines come with collets and some don't. Most all full race R/C cars use SG shafts, so at least this is the same from engine to engine.

There ARE however differences in length and taper angle in Collets, so it is very important that the Collet match the Flywheel being used.

If the Car kit did not come with a Collet, try asking in the Serpent thread for what brands will work.

You should have a brass collet in your 710 kit, from memory it's in the Centax clutch bag this is what you should use.
