The floating rear kit for my car was under $5 so it was one of the cheapest "upgrades" I could do.. I believe it helped the ass stick on sweeper after straight but that also could be thinking its better because I expect it to be better
I had a floating mount on my MTX-2. While it definetly handled better, I don't think you get the full benefit of the floating mount using a sedan body. They just are not aerodymanic enough to take full advantage of it. There was a HUGE difference in handling on the MTX-2 using the floating mount with a Yok Lola body.
It must of had some kind aerodynamic advantage if you yourself said it handeled better. If you want to get a little more aero advantege make a brace for the hood to rest on, under full power the hood starts to cave in.
