Default Just got my NS12S3

Whats up all,
I just got my new motor and I had a couple of questions.
1. It comes with a standard button head, does anyone know where I can get a turbo button head for it?
2. If I only intend to run it in turbo trim should I break it in that way?
3. I'm sure it's original carb settings from the factory are done with the standard set-up, what changes should I make when I put the turbo plug set-up on it?
I know that's three but I do appreciate the help!!!

I have the NSR123 and changed the button to turbo button. I took out one shim to make the head clearance 0.014"

If you have a new engine you will need to run it in first before worrying about the carb settings

Go to http://www.ziggy12345.plus.com/Cars/ for all the setup docs for the engine

I cant say anything bad about my NS 3 port. It flys. When the liner wears out you can get a liner, piston, conrod and wrist pin for the NS 5 port for $100 and slot it straight in!!

Cheers

What % nitro of fuel are you running? if you are running 30% I would at least have 0.4mm to o.5mm head shim. Stock comes with 0.3mm.

16% If I was to go to 25% I would add shims to take it to around 0.020"

That engine is super fast out of the box......if you ever need to replace the P/S let Palmaris engines do a mod on it. You'll not be disappointed!

Default Usually

We pit on the 5 min mark but we push it at times, this is in race conditions. Close to six but that'll run it out

Whats the difference between a turbo and standard head? Can you see the difference in those two?
