Anyway before everybody else has a crack at me:
I appologise for weighing the tires that I bought because they were supposed to be lighter and finding out that they were not lighter then wanting to know what tires they were compared with.

You don't have to appologise, we welcome your comment on our products. But no matter what, i think you will like our tires and up coming products
But we have to disagree on the reading of your scale, we will have to prove it to you then. (are you sure your scale is on 0 when you weighted it?)

Anyway no need to post on the weight issue futher. My reading was accurate for these scales and they were zeroed, but mayby my scales are inaccurate since Australia is upside down.

I would have to agree with AMG, we are a country of carpark tracks. There are 4 major permanant purpose built facilities. The remainder are carparks.
The State I live in has a fairly large number of tracks and clubs. You could race every weekend if you wanted to, and possably both days, as well as midweek.
We have a very good inter club comp going on here also, with an event held every few months at a different track each time.
Mono, are there any Aussie distributers for your tires yet? I would like to try them out one day.

Sparksy -- I can ship them over there for 11.00 a pair plus shipping ( 9.00 per 6 pair ) This is done through Global Priority. No insurance but I have not had a problem yet. [email protected]

Since all tyres are factory trued from thick sheets, I wondered why Mono might choose to leave them at the larger diameter - f'rinstance, they might be perfectly stable at this diameter.
. . . anyway.

tire is up to par and at 10.99 a pair with out having to buy in
bulk or hagle is not bad either.

Glad you like the tyres. Importantly, what are you comparing them to?

11 a pair + shipping is too much.
9 a pair (for 6 pairs) is much better, but the shipping from the states would blow that out a fair bit.
If we had them in a store here they would be$25USD a pair.
To tell you the truth, I'm happy with out HK contacts with their $8ish USD and cheeper shipping. They might not be the Mono, but there is a good choice of 95% of the top tire brands. That said, if we could source Mono at a similar price landed I would be interested in making a purchase
BTW Gav... whens the next order? and when do you want to try the fuel?

If you want Mono tuning tyres just buy Sato Seiki from RC online. They are the same tyres
