What's the real difference between the Legal and Outlaw versions?

What difference would I see between them if I put them on my 5-port Sirio?

So the "long" header is the one that came with the previous pipe? Man, I can't wait to get mine. Just from the descriptions, I'm very anxious to try it out.

Hi rod it does sound like you can use both headers for the
new pipe. i'm sure keeping the old header will help especially
if when you get weather that promotes detination. Going to
a longer header is the easiest fix.

Motorman, is there any word of a new 1/8th scale on-road pipe? I need to buy one, and I might wait if theres going to be a new pretty soon.

funny you should ask. we had that discussion tonight and the answer is yes, however it is 3 to 4 months off at least.
The current 1/8 pipe works well if you drill a hole straight through the stinger outlet into the iner cone, drill it just under the stinger diameter.

I ran the pipe this weekend and the power was very smooth through the entire powerband. I ran it in my MTX-3 using a NS5 motor. The track size was 185x80. The pipe deliverd crisp clean power.

Can someone please verify this.....from www.speedtechrc.com, they are selling the Turbo II pipe for $54.99.

However, on RDLogics site, selling the same thing for $75.95

Does SPEEDTECHRC selling the PIPE only? Or the whole set with the header?

I would like to get the whole thing......but I don't know why RD Logics themselve will sell it $20 plus more....?

Also, I am using a Nova Mega SS 3 port Turbo engine, should I use the LEGAL one or OUTLAW one...? Thanks for advance

Thanks

I got mine from SpeedtechRC for the $54.99 and it came with pipe and header.

Great pipe btw, I've got it on my G4 w/.12 Sirio 5-port. I ran it all weekend and my car is almost uncontrollable as it accelerates so hard now. My only problem has been the engine dying when I get off the throttle after about 1 minute of running. I've tried rich, lean, new glow plugs etc....and still dies the instant I get off throttle? it started as soon as I swapped pipes. I'll fix it , though, I ain't giving up this pipe.

RD is the manufacturer and does not want to compete with its
retailers and distributers. RD is just offering the items online for
some people that have no access to the products through lhs.

I suggest the legal for racing.
