Airport will be Orlando International, unless you have a private jet then you can land on the Kissimmee airport behind the track

For hotels here are a few, Kissimmee is full of them all within minutes of the track.

Look for the ones on W.Irlo Bronson HWY and Hoagland av. those will be the closest to the track.

Howard Johnson usually has the best rate & the hotel is really nice

I just looked up Motel 6 at 7455 W Irlo Bronson Meml Hwy
Kissimmee, FL 34747-1722 and it shows $25.95 per night and that is for 2 adults, amazingly low price.

Here are the details for our 4th Annual US Open Championships December 3-6, hosted by Kissimmee R/C Raceway. Remember if you want to bring the family, Disney is only 20 minutes away from our track location. I will announce soon which racers that are coming from across the pond to race with us.

There will be a limited 144 Racers total. We will crown four champions on sunday.
Factory and Open 1/8 Factory and Open sedan.
All will compete in the Triple "A" mains format to seek the crown.
There will be Four rounds of qualifiers.
After the final round of qualifiers the top 12 will go directly into the Factory “A” sedan and 1/8 main final. The next top four positions will go directly into the “A” Open finals. All others will be set into lower main grid, to race their way into the finals.
No 100% factory drivers will be allowed in open class
Entry Fee $55.00....Covered Pit Space $20.00 (by Nov. 15) ROAR membership required
2nd Class $45.00..entries accepted after Nov 1 (factory drivers 1st choice) pls email to get on waiting list

Tues/Wed..….. Track open for practice
Thursday 3rd.....Official practice day 7-5:30pm

Friday 4th……… Qualifiers 3 rounds (prac-7-8:30) (quals 9-4:30)

Saturday……(prac 7-8, 4th rd 8:30-11) C main and lower noon-4:30

Sunday…………..Semi finals 8:30-9:30 Triple “A” finals 10:30-3:30

We have over 5000 rooms to choose from in the surrounding area. But our host Hotel is the Howard Johnson (407-396-7100), which is only 10 minutes from the track. We use this hotel for all of our events.

To received these rates you must reserve by November 15, 2009
Rates for Dece 1-6 or the state race Dece 12-13
Double 25+tax = 32.50 for more than 6 consecutive nights
Double 29.66+tax = 38.40 per night….
Again Deadline to make reservations November 15th
The reason for more than 6 nights is we will be holding a FORGASS (fla state series race) the following w/e. The track will open on the following friday.

Ok so there's no more separation rounds? So top 30 will not be "Factory" and everyone else races in the "open class"

Registration will be activated at 3pm on monday. www.kissrcraceway.com. Click on US Open entry, register, and choose entry fee. In the comment box, give your infomation. It is very simple.
