Hump or flat receiver pack for Mongoose G4?

I'm getting a Mongoose kit and I'm not sure what 6V receiver battery to get (Hump or flat or other). Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Ed

make sure that you use AAA bateries. The regular receiver pack are too big for the G4.

I bought one from RCsuperrstore on ebay $170.00 + 15 for shipping.

I'm curious why you say they would be hard to find? There is more than one ebay store that has them.

LMK
Thanks
Ed

Hi Ed

This kit was made by Team Magic for RDLogics some years ago now which is based on the Team Magic G4 platform.

TM has since released quite a few different cars and their latest G4RS 2009.

Hope this explains it better

Thanks

I think I get it. If I read you correctly one could say it's a little old school a little out dated and maybe it's being phased out.

If that is true I'm cool with that. I just getting back into RC and I think it'll be a good car to practice with until I fell more comfortable with the controls and chassis setup.

Thanks
Ed
