Default Question about tuning....

I am trying to fully understand the Nitro tuning process (Again).

I have a Nitro RS4 3 SS, and I am having a bit of issues trying to figure out how to read the performance of the engine.

Here is what is happening...

It seems pretty punch off the line...but when it accelerates...about half way through...it starts to bog down...and then sometimes i cuts out...

Is the engine too lean or rich?

does anyone have any good Engine tuning reading (beside the stock info that comes from the Manufacturers)? I met someone this weekend...at a hobby shop that helped me out..but the weather has changed since then..and I need to do some fine tuning to accomdate the weather changes..

Thank you

What does it sound like when it cuts out? Does it make a gurgling sound or is the sound pretty high pitched? If it's gurgling, then you're too rich. If it's the other, than your'e too lean. It most likely will be too lean. That's when an engine will cut out when you're already on the throttle. Not enough fuel.
