Why is a Mugen owner telling a serpent owner how to set up his car?

Different cars, different setups, besides, if he likes his setup, theory is out the window.

Mike Swauger finished 4th at the 1991 1:8 IFMAR Worlds in Austin Texas. In case anyone is curious here's the top 10 from that race:

Lamberto Collari
Massimo Fantini
Michael Salven
Mike Swauger
Alberto Picco
Butch Kloeber
Oliver Mack
Roger Sahli
Arturo Carbonell
Ralph Burch Jr.

Because our governing body initially didn't manage to get enough slots for the drivers and she went, like others, with signing up through other countries.

After all that was done, our new president of DMC tired to get more starting places and got them.

Complicated procedures.....

Now that is good to know. Of course all the haters will say who cares about 18 years ago.

Colari just laid down a very fast run in his first qualifier. Mike had a problem and only ran 3 minutes but his best lap time was faster than Colari's. But then, knowing Mike and his fuel issues he is probably on a two stop strategy.

Money.

His choice was pay out of his own pocket to go - here's the reality: he just got married, bought a new home and has two young kids. The world economy is in the crapper.

Guys, Scott is not a professional RC racer. He could be - he has proven that. A trip to Lostollo for three folks is just more than we can afford. He didn't have the sponsorship backing to attend this race. He, like all of the Empire crew, is very disappointed - he really wanted to race hard for team USA.
