Engine for Serpent 733?
 

I just ordered the new serpent 733. I have been racing for a few years now, TC3's, HPI onroad and oval, 1/8 buggies, truggies. But this is the first serious on road car I have bought. DO any of you guys have some suggestions for a kick a$$ legal .12 engine and exhaust for this thing. I will be using it for racing on road, not drag racing. Thanks for any input.

IDM EVO4 with either the 2607 or 2651 exhaust. (At least I think 2651 is the new picco exhaust..)

A decent engine Max power RR3 with a 2649 pipe. Very nice

I have seen that Daniele uses 2617 pipe with his Evo4:sneaky:

two good engines RB R3RC or RB T9RC both work very well with novarossi 2630 pipe with medium header

Yes! this engine and pipe are bad ass together and i plan on putting this in my 733 wheni order the car next week and to make it more bad ass send it to murnan to get it modified and when you get off throttle at the end of the straight your engine is going to be like come on dude dont get off yet

im running the Picco JL red dot , and its an fast lil SOB ..lol

yeah after a little research it looks like I'm gonna go with the picco, what pipe are you running with it?

The RB R3RC and Novarossi 353 are def. killer motors.

I'm running the LRP 12R on my 733 and my fast lap was less than a second slower than my 720 with the R3 (not the RC) That was the first time for the 733 at the track. VERY impressive.

My point is you can get a decent motor for about 250 and still be competitive. IF you have the money get the NOVAROSSI no question about that. :D

Picco 2651 pipe should do the trick with the reddot.
Kamikaze has them.

353 09 if you have money. Or I would try the new OS 12 XZ. I remember the old OS 12 TZ was pretty darn good.

I always liked the O.S. motors, easy to tune and boy could they take a beating. The .12 TZ was a ripper. 353 09??? sorry not familiar with that one
