Great post; could not have said it better myself.
I work in a hobby store in Dallas. We sell tons of Traxxas products. However, Traxxas is what it is: a durable product that introduces a newbie to the hobby that is lightyears ahead of the r/c stuff sold at RadioShack, Walmart, and Toys R Us. Outside of the Revo, if you plan on racing competitively, you go with r/c products best suited for racing. However, if all you want to bash and need something that will not break when you breathe on it, then Traxxas is the way to go!! Oh, if you really want to see folks on this forum bash a product, just mention CEN, Duratrax, or XTM; you will see the words fly then.
